Happy Mother's Day!

I decided to start a blog as a way to track all the fab things we're doing out here in Venice. I'm truly inspired by my two favorite bloggers, our dear friend Rachel who is an amazing artist photographer and mom, and Soulemama.  Both of whom I am profoundly influenced by on a daily basis. And this post is dedicated to all the moms out there especially my Mom!

knitted farm

Sydney's third grade class moms made this knitted farm for Ocean Charter School's silent auction.  Each person knitted or felted  a section and we came together and sewed it onto a rug backing. Most of the animals were felted from wool roving.
